What was supposed to be a simple run for his wife became a movement for the entire community to embrace. This is a story of one husband’s love and support for his wife and her battle with breast cancer.

Every year the CIBC Run for the Cure has its run usually the first week in October. The CIBC Run for the Cure has become a major driving force throughout Canada in support of breast cancer research. This year, Sydney held their annual Run for the Cure on September 30, 2012 which is the day before Treaty Day (October 1) for the Mi’kmaq.
