Over the years the building has served us well. Here’s a summary of activities that that took place in this building since it was built in 1974.

  • J & M Hardware – sold mostly drywall supplies for many drywall contractors that worked out of Millbrook;
  • Pool Hall;
  • Horse stable – Race horses, broodmares, colts, fillies;
  • Millbrook Tubular Steel Factory – Built the bleacher seats at our ball fields and Powwow Grounds;
  • Canoe Factory;
  • Marshall’s Cabinet Shop;
  • Riverboat Queen Casino – Actually it was grey machines which were replaced by today’s VLT’s; and
  • Fisheries building.

This building served us well and I have many fond memories but we have to move on and the replacement building should make us proud.
