Lt. Governor JJ Grant presented Chief Gerard Julian with the 2013 Lieutenant Governor’s Community Spirit Award in a ceremony at the Annual Pow Wow, Sunday, September 22nd at the community’s cultural grounds.
The crystal statuette serves as recognition of the progress the community is making toward self-sufficiency and the obvious pride community members exhibit to all who visit the small, vibrant community who focus on honouring their culture.
