The family of the Late Grand Chief John Denny clan celebrated their ancestors in an annual gathering that took place on April 12th 2014 at Gabriel Centre in Eskasoni, NS.  The SI Denny family held the Grand Chief title for five generations prior to 1842.. Their family members were groomed and educated as most “Royals” would be today. They were taught proper character and history which prepared their family members to conduct themselves going forward to behold the honored title.
