On June 20, 2016, 13 First Nation Chief’s from Nova Scotia filed out of their hotel in Ottawa and onto two shuttles sent from Parliament Hill. The next leg of their journey would see them make history as the first region to hold a nation to nation summit between indigenous leaders and all federal elected Members of Parliament from Nova Scotia.
