Millbrook’s 24th Annual King of the Mountain saw two-time champion Shane Kennedy crowned once again. With winds gusting up to 40kmph, Shane’s 88 was good enough to best the field of 28 Millbrook Golfers to win his 3rd title. A three-way tie for second saw 16 year-old Cole Bernard winning by retrogression in a count-back of the last three holes played, where he had the higher score on the 16th hole, Todd Martin, Dustin Marshall and Bernard all scored 92.

Individual awards were handed out for closest to the hole where Justin Julien won on holes 2 & 16, Spencer Wilmot on hole 5, Cole Bernard on 7 and Vernon Gloade on the tough 18th hole. Long drive winners were Shane Kennedy on 4 and Gordon Johnson on 17 with two prizes also given out for the worst score on a hole, shared by Cal and Vernon Gloade with a 10 and the best score on a hole, shared by Cal and B ...
