Potlotek First Nation has reached another milestone in it’s efforts to have their own Radio Station.
On Nov.17th, 2017, the CRTC had reached a decision to approve Potlotek Communication’s Society application for a Low Powered, Class B, Native Radio Station under-taking.

After more than a year of construction, acquisition and installation of equipment, applications to both the CRTC and ISED (Industry, Science & Economic Development), Mniku Radio, as it’s being called, is about to begin it’s journey into the world of radio broadcasting. Their call-sign and frequency as was issued by ISED are 93.7FM, CIYR(Chapel Island Youth Radio).
