Recently Sipekne’katik First Nation was able to display the Mi’kmaw Sports Hall of Fame Banners with this years new Inductees.

Sara-Lynn Knockwood, Jake Maloney and the Late Peter Julian were inducted this year for their contributions to Sports.

The banners were on display at the fitness centre and later a dinner was at the community centre in honour of the recipients and to allow the community to enjoy the banners.
