It turned out to be a warm and sunny day on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Nice weather for our annual STUDENT
APPRECIATION DAY held at the LSK Soccer Field. In attendance were students from LSK, Shubenacadie District, REC, HERH, Pre-K, Headstart, Daycare, etc. Some of the activities included: Monster Truck, Ocean World, King’s Castle, Human Spheres, Laser Tags, Boot Camp and Three-Ring Circus provided by GLOW. Other items included face-painting and fun food – hotdogs, hamburgers, cake, popcorn, snow cones, and the ever-popular (and messy) cotton candy. Thank you to our own Leeanne Maloney for her organizational skills and to all our Educational Assistants and kitchen staff who worked their magic with not only the children, but also the food. After all… what is a fair without some good carnival food? So hats off to… Theresa, Tammy, Stacey, Andrea, Leslie, Shannon, Doreen, Linda, Kelsey, Trisha, Sharleen, Josh, Roddie, John, Colin, Diane and Miss Gail.
