WindsJuwi Wind Canada (a wholly owned subsidiary of the juwi Group), Firelight Infrastructure Partners and four Nova Scotia-based community partners recently achieved a major milestone by the commissioning a 24 megawatt portfolio comprised of four separate community-owned wind energy projects located in Nova Scotia.

A commissioning event hosted at the Legends Gaming Center in Truro was held on Monday evening and attended by over 150 people, including the Honourable Andrew Younger (Minister of Energy, Nova Scotia), Janine Dunlop (Regional Director General Atlantic Region, Aboriginal Affairs & Northern Dev. Canada), Chief Bob Gloade (Millbrook First Nation), Chief Leroy Denny (Eskasoni First Nation), their related Councils members, Elders and other local dignitaries.
