Elder Patricia (Pat) Robar-Harlow at Kejimkujik National Park.

An incredibly huge thank you to Patricia (Pat) Robar-Harlow for dedicating 35 wonderful years to her career as a Native Alcohol Drug Abuse Councillor with NADACA. It is with much respect and gratitude we receive her decision to retire on March 31st 2015. We are happy she can now spend her well-earned days fishing, hunting and enjoying the great outdoors.

Pat was born in Digby, and lived in Shubenacadie until the age of 11. She then moved to the small town of Bear River, on reserve, where she resides today. In 1995 she graduated from Dalhousie University, and first started her career working from inside her home. She then worked in the Band Office until the new Health Center was built in 2000. She has had her three beautiful daughters and two wonderful sons by her side the entire way. She has also helped many others through situations, others thought were impossible.

We all wish you the very best in the future and will enjoy seeing the simple heartwarming smile you give. Thank you.

A very special happy birthday to all of the ones who are celebrating this month!
