Annapolis Valley’s lobster fishing vessel the “Lobster Stalker”.

The shores of the Bay of Fundy in southwestern Nova Scotia is home to the small but vibrant Annapolis Valley First Nation. In the last four years, a tremendously positive turnaround has occurred here. During this period, their commercial fishery enterprise (CFE) has gone from a cumbersome, money losing operation to a financially stable, profitable and growing enterprise. This story is about how this tiny community of close to 300 members accomplished this almost impossible task.
