February was an exciting and very busy month. First of all, our Scholastic Book Fair was a great success… thanks to the support of the Sipekne’katik community, staff and students. Not only did we meet our goal of $1,500… we surpassed it. Our final total was $3,010.83!! That means that we were able to take $1,805.75 worth of products, and since we did so well, we were given an extra Rewards Credit of $301.83, which was a total of $2,107.58 of new books and school tools!!! Since the library has plenty of books, this rewards commission was used to give every student in grades Primary to twelve a new book.
