Eskasoni Christmas Telethon 2018

For many families in Eskasoni, Christmas doesn’t officially start until the annual Eskasoni Christmas telethon begins. It’s held ever second Sunday in December and the original telethon was held 21 years ago. Eskasoni’s annual Christmas Telethon is called “Wjit Mijua’jijk – For the Children,” and it was held on December 11, 2018 at the Sarah Denny Cultural Center. The telethon has evolved in the last 21 years to become Eskasoni’s biggest fundraising event for families in need during the holiday season.
