Many activities were held, like face painting.
The annual “Si’aq Mawiomi” or Si Gathering, was held in Eskasoni First Nation (FN) on July 19-21, 2019. There were activities throughout the weekend, some include: karaoke on Friday evening and “fun-filled” family activities on Saturday, including merchandise bingo and then the ever-popular fireworks on Saturday evening, which was a total success. Sheldon “Mooney” Francis along with Toby Denny and Colin Denny, along with a few others, oversaw the fire works show. Thank you for the beautiful work and it truly keeps getting better each year.
The family had their feast on Sunday and this year they celebrated two youth, Liam Johnson and Dre’ Denny, and also Trevor Sanipass, who all won medals from the Arm Wrestling Nationals in Edmonton.
