Mi’kmaq Educator Elizabeth Paul Remembered

Renown Mi’kmaq linguist Dr. Bernie Francis said, “The Mi’kmaq language has taken a severe hit,” when he heard about the sudden passing of Elizabeth Paul (Pictured). Elizabeth was considered one of the pillars in the revitalization of the Mi’kmaw language. Elizabeth Ann Paul of Eskasoni passed away on December 1st, 2019.
