“Let them eat cake.”
Excitement radiated through the building as students and staff in Pictou Landing saw their vision become a reality this month when they were able to move into their brand-new school.
Students were involved in the project from the start, with their ideas being incorporated into the design of the building. They felt such pride being able to see their ideas come to life.
The anticipated move in date was the fall of 2019 but several setbacks with weather and other issues delayed the completion of the school.
The teachers and students made the best of their time in their old school during this school year but were extremely happy to finally be in their new space.
