Department of Fisheries and Oceans, RCMP and Mi’kmaq gather on the shores of the Shubenacadie River at the site of the former Shubenacadie Indian Residential school grounds to discuss protection of both the ecological integrity of the area of the Shubenacadie river and the cultural and spiritual significance of the river site.
