L’NU’K Clothing Co. opened its first clothing store-front location at Millbrook First Nation’s new Stanley Johnson Mall. Jennifer Denny, a local Mi’kmaw Fashion Designer and entrepreneur is the Founder and Head Designer for the Clothing Brand.

The brand was launched in November 2019 and originally operated as an online shopping business. After L’NU’K Clothing Co. launched its first High-end collection titled “TREATY 1752” fittingly on Mi’kmaq Treaty Day 2020; the brand had gained a lot momentum and talks about the new Mi’kmaw-owned business flourished throughout Mi’kma’ki that Fall season.

One year later in October of 2020, the brand relocated from a small art studio located in the Fashion Designer’s community to a larger studio and combined store-front commercial space.
Jennifer Denny owns and operates both the store-front and the design studio. In the store-front you can find her latest looks that she has designed for her Fashion Brand ‘L’NU’K Clothing Co.’ as well as clothing by other Indigenous Designers form across Turtle Island. In the back of the commercial space is where all of the “magic” happens and it is where creative ideas are incubated for each up-coming season in Fashion.
