Cheryl Berubé of Eskasoni knows the meaning of commitment, and there’s nothing stopping her once she makes up her mind. Earlier this year she ran her first 5K in the Fiddler’s Fun Run and biked 25K in the Velo Lobster Roll Relay. In winter she can be found snow shoeing at Ski Ben Eoin or at Goat Island in Eskasoni. She takes in boot camp, line dancing, zumba and yoga classes. What makes Cheryl’s physical activity adventures unique is the fact that since she started down this road, Cheryl has lost over 162 pounds! And she’s not finished yet.
