Participants of Membertou’s Parents Against Drugs Walk.
On Friday, September 6, Membertou’s Parents Against Drugs group held their 4th annual walk. With an overwhelming amount of children, parents, teachers and community members participating, the walk was very successful as they peacefully walked approximately five kilometers through the community of Membertou. The peaceful walk was also accompanied by Jeff Ward’s drumming and children all taking turns using the microphone as they excitedly shouted “No more drugs.”
