November 11, 2012 – All Mi’kmaw communities have been affected by war. For generations, Mi’kmaw men and women have put themselves in harm’s way to defend our freedom. During the 20th and 21st century, over 300 Mi’kmaw men and women have served in armed conflict world wide. Families, friends, RCMP officers and military officials once again gathered at the Sacred Heart Church on November, 11, 2012 for the Remembrance Day Ceremony in Millbrook to honour those Warriors.
