Hello and welcome to my corner of the world, it has been a while since I did any writing. My summer was the worst in years, I spent most of it being ill. I was on a bus trip to Quebec and only got as far as Fredericton, N.B. when I became ill and had to return home. It started a chain of illnesses to follow for the rest of the summer. I usually spent the summer camping but it didn’t happen this year. Oh well maybe next year will be a better time for me so let’s get on with the story shall we.

Halloween and Christmas are my most favourite times of the year. I look forward to these events like a child let loose in a department store. The excitement begins as soon as mid-September enters the threshold with summer coming to a close and the beginning of the fall in its splendor of colors. Over the past few weeks, I have been watching the neighbor’s yards change in spectacular yet scary scenes as they prepared for Halloween. I managed to put a few things in the front yard but my specialty is the inside of my home.

The front windows are decorated with scenes sometimes frightening creatures peering out staring at the people who walk or drive by. The rest of the house is decorated with monsters, witches and ghost. Each shelf is graced with Halloween trinkets and each room decorated with lights and colorful autumn leaves.
